Uzbekistan’s Natural Gas Production Rises to 42.3 Billion Cubic Meters in 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–December 2025, Uzbekistan’s natural gas production reached 42.3 billion cubic meters, 2.4% higher than in 2024, when output totaled 41.3 billion cubic meters, according to the industrial production statistical report.
Oil production during the same period amounted to 655.7 thousand tonnes, 7.9% lower than the 712.0 thousand tonnes produced in 2024. Production of gas condensate also declined, falling 6.4% to 1,111.3 thousand tonnes compared with 1,187.1 thousand tonnes a year earlier.
Coal output in 2025 reached 8.9 million tonnes, up 8.5% from 8.2 million tonnes in 2024.
Automobile gasoline production decreased to 1,200.2 thousand tonnes, 6.7% below the previous year’s 1,286.8 thousand tonnes, while diesel fuel production grew 18.6% to 1,158.1 thousand tonnes compared with 976.3 thousand tonnes in 2024.
