Uzbekistan’s National Electric Networks may implement RS-20 technological management platform

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan (NES Uzbekistan) is considering the implementation of the RS-20 technological management platform developed by the Russian company Rosseti. This information was reported by the Russian company.

The RS-20 software suite was presented during a visit by a Russian delegation to Tashkent. The platform is already in use in Russia and Belarus.

The visit by the Rosseti group delegation to Tashkent followed up on agreements reached in June 2024 between Rosseti CEO Andrey Ryumin and NES Uzbekistan head Dadajon Isakulov during a working meeting at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

According to Rosseti representatives, the RS-20 complex is an integration platform that addresses data fragmentation issues and ensures the unification of information exchange based on a unified energy complex model. The platform automates both technological and business processes.

During the project presentation, the possibility of adapting RS-20 to meet the specific requirements of NES Uzbekistan was discussed. "The competencies of the platform developer, Rosseti ASTU, include creating standards, regulations, and roadmaps for further implementation considering the country’s particularities," the company noted.

In Russia, the RS-20 project is a key initiative within the Industrial Competence Center "Electric Power," established by the Russian government and headed by Rosseti CEO Andrey Ryumin.
