Uzbekistan’s GDP grows by 7.4% in 2021

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In 2021, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan at current prices made up 734.6 trillion. soums, which is 7.4% more than last year.

GDP growth is due to positive growth rates in the main sectors of the region’s economy, such as agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 4.0%, industry - 8.7%, construction - 6.8% and services - 9.2%.

In the context of regions, the outstripping growth rates of the gross regional product (GRP) were noted in Tashkent (14.1%), Tashkent (10.7%) and Syrdarya (10.2%) regions.
