Uzbekistan’s Competition Committee approves Naphtha Group’s acquisition of SDK

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Competition Development and Consumer Rights Protection Committee of Uzbekistan has approved the application of Naphtha Group LLC-FZ from the UAE to acquire a 100% stake in the charter capital of LLC SP SDK Group And.

Naphtha Group LLC-FZ, a company engaged in the trade of oil and petroleum products across several countries, will gain control of SDK Group And, a producer of motor oil filters and fuel products.

Following an analysis, the Committee’s Special Commission concluded that the deal would not negatively impact competition in the market. As a result, the application was approved, and the transaction was authorized.
