Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will purchase medical equipment worth US$100 million. This decision was made in accordance with the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan.
The head of Uzbekistan signed a resolution aimed at improving the provision of medical services to the population of the country.
The document says that medical equipment will be purchased for various medical institutions in the amount of US$100 million in 2021-2022.
The President instructed the Fund for Reconstruction and Development to allocate resources in national currency for the purchase of equipment for up to 3 years. The loan rate will be 2% per annum.
Khokimiyats of Tashkent city and regions, as well as the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan will determine the needs for medical equipment in the context of each institution.
