Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) –– From 5 to 10 November in Shanghai (China), the 2nd China International Import Expo 2019 is held.

The exhibition presents stands of 64 countries of the world, 15 of which are honored guests, including the Republic of Uzbekistan. The national stand of the Republic of Uzbekistan is presented at Country Pavilion.

Our republic is represented by government departments and industry companies, such as the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, the State Plant Quarantine Inspectorate, the Associations Uztekstilprom, Uzpromstroymaterialy, Hunarmand, Beekeeping of Uzbekistan, Uzcharmsanoat, Uzeltehsanoat, Uzbekozikovkatholding, Uzkimyosanoat, Agency for the development of viticulture and winemaking.

The exhibited products of Uzbekistan will allow visitors and exhibitors to get acquainted with the production potential of the republic, innovative achievements and the rich cultural and historical heritage.

On the opening day, on 5 November, the National Stand of the Republic of Uzbekistan was visited by delegations of participating countries. The organizers, during the grand opening, appreciated the stand of the Republic of Uzbekistan, highlighting the high level of organization and participation.

China International Import Expo has been held in Shanghai since 2018. The initiative on its organization was expressed by Chinese President Xi Jinping at the One Belt and One Way International Cooperation Forum in Beijing in May 2017.
