Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan Bakhrom Babayev met with State Secretary of the Ministry of State Assets of Poland Artur Soboń.

The parties discussed the issues of establishing cooperation with the State Assets Management Agency of Uzbekistan.

The meeting was held to ensure the implementation of the agreements reached following the results of the 7th meeting of Uzbekistan – Poland Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.

Artur Soboń expressed the interest of the Polish side in strengthening cooperation with Uzbekistan in the management of state assets and noted that the signing of the Agreement between the relevant agencies of the two countries should be preceded by practical work, the result of which may be the adoption of a relevant document in this area.

He emphasized that Poland is ready to share its experience in improving legislation in state assets management, principles, system and methods of supervision at enterprises with state participation, the introduction of modern corporate governance methods, financial rehabilitation of economically insolvent enterprises with state participation.
