Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Palestine, Director General of the Palestinian International Cooperation Agency Imad Zuhair, who arrived in Tashkent to participate in the work of the 46th Annual meetings of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank.

During the meeting, the state and prospects for the development of Uzbek-Palestinian relations, issues of interaction within the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other structures were considered.

The parties expressed interest in developing cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

During the talks, an exchange of views took place on certain international and regional problems.
