Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Republic of Uzbekistan in the next edition of the Democracy Index, formed by the British company "The Economist Intelligence Unit" with 2.12 points, took 155th place, and this result was achieved due to a significant improvement in the country’s scores on the indicator "Political participation".

In general, the analysis given in the index testifies, first of all, to the consistently and stably pursued policy in the political and legal sphere without any deviations.

In turn, the expert group in the general review of the countries of the region, including Uzbekistan, especially noted the growth of confidence in the views of the government and political parties.
