Uzbekistan has capped diesel price increases for farmers.
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Committee for Competition Development and Consumer Protection of Uzbekistan has set a limit on diesel fuel price increases for farms, according to Otabek Usmanov, an adviser to the committee's chairman.
As of February 26, the maximum increase in the exchange price of diesel fuel for farmers has been capped at 5%. A corresponding directive has been sent to the Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange (UZEX).
The committee has not specified how long the restrictions will remain in effect.
