Uzbekistan exports about 2,500 tons of persimmons in the first two months of 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January-February 2025, Uzbekistan continued to export persimmons, sending 2,451 tons of this popular fruit abroad, worth US$1.27 million, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The main markets for persimmon exports were neighboring countries. The largest volumes were exported to Kazakhstan — 1,200 tons, which accounted for a significant share of the total supply.
Russia received 940 tons of persimmons, while 186.3 tons were sent to Kyrgyzstan. Additionally, Turkmenistan purchased 105.8 tons of persimmons.
