Uzbekistan and South Korea strengthen cooperation in labor inspection
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An official meeting was held at the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan with a delegation from the Republic of Korea.
The delegation included representatives from the Ministry of Employment and Labor of Korea, the Korea Labor and Employment Service (KLES), the Korea Labor Institute (KLI), as well as professors from Yonsei, Wonkwang, and Ewha universities—institutions with extensive expertise in labor and employment matters.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister for Poverty Reduction and Employment, Ra'no Turdiboyeva, commended the joint initiatives and cooperation projects aimed at developing the activities of Uzbekistan’s State Labor Inspectorate. She especially highlighted the Korean side's recommendations on the phased implementation of a training system for labor inspectors based on South Korea’s experience.
This meeting marked an important step in strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of labor inspection. It also contributed to the professional development of labor inspectors and fostered the exchange of knowledge and best practices between the two countries.
