Uzbekistan and Kuwait strengthen cooperation in labor migration
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Representatives of the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan and the Consular and Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs visited Kuwait, Dunyo news agency reported.
The primary objective of the visit was to hold negotiations with potential employers and recruitment agencies in Kuwait to sign agreements on attracting qualified labor from Uzbekistan to the country.
During the visit, members of the Uzbek delegation visited leading Kuwaiti companies such as Kuwait Agriculture Company, Gulf Care Trade, AlJaber Group Holding, NBTC Group, Me Career, Brunel Energy, Diversity Tech, as well as the Courtyard by Marriott hotel, where productive negotiations took place.
The discussions focused on attracting experienced specialists from Uzbekistan, establishing joint centers for language and professional training, candidate selection, and implementing joint projects in Uzbekistan.
As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed to develop and sign memorandums of understanding and cooperation.
