Uzbekistan and Chelyabinsk region representatives discuss localization and joint ventures
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 16 April, a roundtable was held in Tashkent bringing together representatives from the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agency for International Cooperation of Russia’s Chelyabinsk Region, the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia, as well as executives from more than 15 leading companies from Uzbekistan and Russia.
During the discussions, the parties explored prospects for developing industrial cooperation, including the supply and localization of industrial products and the establishment of joint manufacturing enterprises.
Companies from the Chelyabinsk Region showcased their production capabilities in sectors such as metallurgy, mechanical engineering, information technology, and construction materials manufacturing.
As part of the program, B2B meetings were held, where participants discussed the implementation of joint projects, supply chain arrangements, and the creation of service support centers.
