Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan is currently on an official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The visit focuses on expanding investment cooperation, particularly the implementation of joint projects in the food industry.

As part of the visit, a meeting was held with representatives of Milla Dairy, during which the parties exchanged views on the prospects of launching a joint project with the Uzbek company Jizzax Organic to produce dairy products in Uzbekistan.

It was noted that Milla Dairy is currently conducting market research in Uzbekistan and working on the development of a business model for the project.

The delegation also met with Abdul Aliyev, Director of the venture investment company R Group Holding.

During the meeting, a project was presented aimed at resuming operations at the MILMAXTRADE plant, which specializes in the production of jams, dried fruits, and snacks, and whose operations had previously been temporarily suspended.

Following the discussions, the parties agreed to arrange an online meeting with the head of MILMAXTRADE, Mr. Sh. Khusenov, and to share the project documentation with the Azerbaijani side.
