Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During his visit to Chirchik, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived at the Iftikhor mahalla, where he talked with residents of apartment buildings.

- Chirchik was once a famous city. He's been tired lately, figuratively speaking. The time has come to create all the conditions here. We are starting a lot of work to boost industry, create jobs, improve roads and heat supply, the head of state said.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev inquired about the problems in makhallas, the requirements and requests of residents.
