Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis adopted a bill on amendments to the law "On basic guarantees of the activities of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan."

The bill was presented by the Minister of Justice of Uzbekistan Ruslanbek Davletov. The draft law proposes to establish the distinctive symbols of the head of state - a sign and a standard.

In foreign countries, newly elected presidents, after taking the oath, are awarded the President's badge and standard.
