Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a law “On Spatial Data”.
According to the law, spatial data is data about spatial objects, including information about their location, shape and other features.
The Cadastral Agency under the State Tax Committee is a specially authorized state body in the field of spatial data.
To coordinate the development of the national spatial data infrastructure, a Coordination Council for the development of the national spatial data infrastructure will be established under the Cadastral Agency.
Spatial data is categorized into basic and profiled spatial data.
Spatial data and metadata are provided to state bodies for the implementation of their powers free of charge, and to other users - for a fee in the amount established by a specially authorized state body in agreement with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
