Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 January 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Demiya Zuheir Haddod.

Accepting copies of his credentials, the Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his responsible diplomatic mission.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the further development of bilateral relations in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as interaction within the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other international structures.

An exchange of views took place on the schedule of upcoming joint events at various levels.

Other issues of mutual interest were also considered during the talks.
