Uzbek Energy Minister gets acquainted with the construction progress of the country’s first automated gas distribution station

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan Alisher Sultanov got acquainted with the progress of the project to create the first fully automated gas distribution station "Bektemir" in Uzbekistan in the Urta-Chirchik district of Tashkent region. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

The automated station under construction will serve consumers in the city of Tashkent and the capital region, and as a result of the digitization of the incoming data, each gas distribution point (GRP) will be monitored online and remotely controlled without human intervention.

At the same time, on the basis of this project, consumers in 9 makhallas of Bektemir district of Tashkent and 8 makhallas of Tashkent region, supplied with natural gas, are transferred to a two-stage gas supply system. As a result, the problems that have so far been observed with respect to natural gas pressure are completely eliminated.

As a result of the work carried out, 14 high-pressure gas distribution points were modernized, as well as 139 medium-pressure hydraulic fracturing stations. This ensures normal gas pressure in 9,400 households. The capital has set up automatic monitoring of the consumption of 16 million cubic meters of natural gas, which will prevent the annual loss of about 701,000 cubic meters of gas.

During familiarization with the ongoing work, the Minister of Energy visited a number of families of residents of the Birlik mahalla of Urta-Chirchik district, where he studied the state of gas supply to consumers on the spot, and also informed the interlocutors about the effectiveness of the project being implemented.

A. Sultanov also got acquainted with the state of energy supply to greenhouses in the region, in particular, with the availability of the required volume of reserves of alternative fuels, the state of heating boilers and their compliance with regulatory requirements, gave appropriate instructions to specialists.

Uzbekistan has a requirement for the temporary transfer of greenhouses to alternative fuels in the cold season, which is necessary to ensure the uninterrupted supply of natural gas to social facilities and households.
