Uzbek Dried Fruits Hit the Shelves of Stockholm Mall for the First Time
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — For the first time, traditional Uzbek products have appeared for sale at a store inside Kista Galleria, one of Stockholm's major shopping centers. The announcement was made by the Dunyo news agency.
This milestone marks the first tangible outcome of the recent “O‘zbekiston mahsulotlari” fair held in Stockholm. As part of the event, the “Mazali” brand showcased a broad selection of dried fruits — including dried apricots, prunes, raisins, walnuts, peanuts, pistachios, and almonds — introducing Swedish consumers to the natural richness of Uzbek produce.
The store’s initial shipment included three types of dried fruits, packaged according to modern hygiene and quality standards, with a strong emphasis on the natural and health benefits of the products.
The entry of Uzbek products into the Swedish market is seen as a significant step in advancing trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Sweden.
Industry observers note that the successful debut of the “Mazali” brand could pave the way for a broader range of Uzbek goods and help strengthen the presence of other Uzbek producers in the Scandinavian market.
