Used Domestic Car Prices Rise in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Experts from the Institute for Macroeconomic and Regional Studies under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan have analyzed price changes on the secondary car market in June 2025.
Prices for Popular Domestic Models
In June, the average price of popular domestic used cars slightly increased compared to May. The price of a used Onix rose by US$120 — from US$13,480 to US$13,600.
The Lacetti with low mileage saw a US$200 increase (from US$14,600 to US$14,800), while the version with high mileage rose by US$100 (from US$12,900 to US$13,000).
Cobalt with low mileage went up by US$150 (from US$12,550 to US$12,700), with average mileage by US$125 (from US$12,000 to US$12,125), and with high mileage by US$100 (from US$11,500 to US$11,600).
The Nexia with average mileage increased by US$300 (from US$10,900 to US$11,200), and with high mileage by US$115 (from US$10,000 to US$10,115).
Spark with high mileage rose by US$200 (from US$8,800 to US$9,000), and with average mileage by US$194 (from US$10,000 to US$10,194).
Damas with low mileage increased modestly by US$50 (from US$8,000 to US$8,050).
Prices for Domestic Luxury Cars
Among premium-class domestic models, prices for used and moderately used Equinox and Malibu vehicles dropped, while the Equinox with low mileage and all variants of the Tracker rose in value.
Equinox with high mileage fell by US$200 (from US$26,200 to US$26,000), and with average mileage by US$50 (from US$30,500 to US$30,450).
Malibu with average mileage dropped by US$500 (from US$28,500 to US$28,000).
Meanwhile, Equinox with low mileage gained US$1,300 (from US$33,500 to US$34,800).
Tracker with average mileage rose by US$300 (from US$17,000 to US$17,300), with high mileage by US$200 (from US$16,000 to US$16,200), and with low mileage by US$75 (from US$18,425 to US$18,500).
Electric Vehicle Prices
During the period under review, prices for electric vehicles decreased, except for the BYD E2 model. The BYD Han with average mileage dropped by US$1,600 (from US$34,100 to US$32,500).
The BYD Song Plus EV Champion with average mileage decreased by US$363 (from US$26,163 to US$25,800), and the new version by US$300 (from US$28,800 to US$28,500).
Another variant of the same model saw a price decrease of US$675 for new cars (from US$28,000 to US$27,325), and US$500 for those with average mileage (from US$26,000 to US$25,500).
BYD Yuan Up with average mileage fell by US$150 (from US$20,150 to US$20,000).
In contrast, BYD E2 with average mileage increased by US$400 (from US$15,600 to US$16,000), and the new model rose by US$50 (from US$16,950 to US$17,000).
Prices for Imported Cars
In June, among imported models, Kia K5 and Chevrolet Monza saw price increases, while the Kia Seltos with average mileage became cheaper.
Kia K5 with high mileage rose by US$777 (from US$29,223 to US$30,000).
Chevrolet Monza with average mileage increased by US$73 (from US$16,600 to US$16,673).
Kia Seltos with average mileage dropped by US$677 (from US$24,383 to US$23,705).
The price analysis was based on data collected via web scraping from the platform olx.uz, using 15,700 listings in May and 14,800 in March.
