Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Twelve people were injured of varying severity as a result of an explosion of a gas-air mixture in an 8-storey building under construction in Bukhara. This was reported by the press service of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan.

The department notes that three victims are workers, and 9 people are passengers of vehicles that were near the explosion site.

All victims were hospitalized. Two victims received minor injuries, and the rest were moderately injured.

A criminal case was initiated. Investigative actions are underway.
