Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Turkish delegation headed by Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu arrived in Uzbekistan today, Dunyo news agency reported.
At the Urgench airport, the distinguished guest was met by Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov, Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov and other officials.
During a visit to Uzbekistan on 6-9 March, the Turkish delegation will take part in the second meeting of the Joint Strategy Planning Group chaired by the heads of the foreign ministries of the two countries.
The visit program also envisages visits to the cities of Khiva and Bukhara, participation in the official opening ceremony of the Turkish Consulate General in Samarkand, meetings and negotiations in the Foreign Ministry, other ministries and departments.
