Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The pharmaceutical company Turk Ilac has received an official certificate of participation in the innovative scientific and industrial pharmaceutical cluster Tashkent Pharma Park.

The certificate was presented to Turk Ilac by Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, formally confirming the company’s inclusion in the cluster.

As part of its new project at Tashkent Pharma Park, Turk Ilac plans to manufacture injectable pharmaceuticals (serums) and create over 200 new jobs. The facility is expected to produce up to 80 million doses of injectable medicines annually.

Turk Ilac is a subsidiary of Turk Ilac ve Serum Sanayi A.S., a company founded in 2010 by Mehmet Berat Battal.

The pharmaceutical production plant currently occupies an area of 80,000 square meters.
