Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- New personnel appointments have taken place in the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan.

According to the decree of the President, Timur Ishmetov was appointed as the First Deputy Presidential Adviser on the development of economic sectors, investments and the implementation of foreign trade policy.

In connection with the new appointment, he was relieved of the post of Minister of Finance of Uzbekistan.

Abdukodir Toshkulov has been appointed as deputy adviser to the head of state on youth, science, education, healthcare, culture and sports. In this connection, he was dismissed from the post of Minister of Higher and Secondary Education.
