Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By a government resolution, the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute of Samarkand State University was established on the basis of the Pedagogical Institute of Samarkand State University.

The institute is a state higher education institution. 

The training of personnel with a higher professional education, mastering the methods of education and training in the field of pedagogy, the skills of applying modern pedagogical technologies in the educational process, is defined as one of the main tasks of the institute.

The educational process at the institute:

- Organized on the basis of Finnish educational programs and technologies;

- Starting from the 2021/2022 academic year.

Accordingly, the University stops accepting bachelor’s degree programs in the field of teacher education and the corresponding master’s degree programs on their basis.

The parameters of admission to the institute for the 2021/2022 academic year for full-time, part-time and evening forms of study are determined on the basis of the decision of the State Commission, and from the 2022/2023 academic year - based on the annually approved parameters of the state order for admission to the republic’s university.
