Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the United States Embassy in Tashkent, from 8 November 2021, foreign citizens entering the United States will be required to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 before boarding the next plane to the USA.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, vaccines that are approved or cleared by the Food and Drug Administration and are listed by the WHO for use in emergencies will be acceptable for entry into the United States.

These restrictions do not apply to holders of an immigrant visa; persons visiting the United States through diplomatic and official channels; children under 18 years of age (additional information is available on the website of the Embassy).

In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan planning to visit the United States take into account the above requirements.
