Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At a plenary session of the Senate, the Law "On amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement of the system of medical and social services in the Republic of Uzbekistan" was considered.

In recent years, important documents have been developed and adopted to improve legislation relating to the rights of segments of the population in need of social assistance.

The law, which was submitted for discussion at the plenary session, was developed taking into account the adoption of the Law "On the Rights of Persons with Disabilities" and the latest reforms in the provision of medical and social services.

In addition, the Code of Administrative Responsibility establishes responsibility for non-compliance with the requirements for creating conditions for persons with disabilities in hotels.

It is also envisaged to introduce such amendments and additions to the Law "On protecting the health of citizens" as the essence of medical and social expertise, and to the Law "On Guarantees of the Rights of the Child" - the concept of children with disabilities.

The law was approved by the senators.
