Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Law "On Organic Products" was signed by the President of Uzbekistan.

This Law regulates the production, processing, storage, transportation, labeling and marketing, as well as conformity assessment and authorization of organic products.

Subsidies are provided for the production of certified organic products, taking into account the specifics of growing crops transferred to the production of organic products.

In the production of organic products, healthy animals and plants, safe products and raw materials of animal and vegetable origin are used.

For labeling organic products, the producers can use the words "organic" (organic), "biologic" (biological), "ecologic" (ecological), "natural" (natural).

The register of organic producers is maintained and posted on the official website of the Ministry of Agriculture.
