Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 November, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in a meeting of the Council of Heads of States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which will be held in the format of a video conference.

The agenda of this meeting, chaired by the Russian side, includes issues of further deepening multifaceted interaction within the SCO in the context of the strengthening of new global challenges and threats.

The heads of delegations of the member states and observers will analyze the current level and discuss the prospects for the development of multilateral relations in priority areas, as well as exchange views on topical international and regional issues.

United Nations Secretary General António Guterres is also expected to deliver a video message to the summit participants.

Following the meeting, it is planned to adopt the Moscow Declaration and a package of documents aimed at expanding mutually beneficial cooperation within the SCO, including in the field of security, economic cooperation, the introduction of digital technologies, the development of rural areas, effective countering epidemics and in other areas.
