Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Government Resolution "On measures to further improve the healthy nutrition system in educational institutions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region" was adopted.

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, as an experiment, a system of free meals for primary school students was introduced at the expense of the budget.

The Resolution approved the Regulations on the organization of a healthy nutrition system in schools of the above regions using the catering method.

The regulation defines the procedure for holding a competition for organizations providing services by the method of catering, billing, food control.

In particular, students are fed at school once a day.

To control nutrition in schools, a special commission of 5 people (principal, nurse and parents’ representatives) is being created.

The daily meal list is submitted through the kundalik.com platform.

Catering is the provision of public catering services on a contractual basis for the preparation, delivery of dishes and the retail sale of finished culinary products remotely in remote locations.
