Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Chairperson of the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asia Tanzila Narbaeva, speaking at the Forum of the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asia, warmly welcoming the participants of the platform, noted that since the establishment of the Dialogue in December 2020, several meetings were held, many topical issues of ensuring gender equality, the empowerment of women, as well as the prospects for regional cooperation in this direction were discussed.

The head of the upper house of parliament Tanzila Narbaeva emphasized that the Forum is of particular importance and brings the activities of the Dialogue of Women Leaders to a qualitatively new level, since its members for the first time in full-time format and in full strength personally gathered on the sidelines of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.

This is recognition and support at the highest level of the aspirations of women in Central Asian countries to play an active role in political, socio-economic, cultural and humanitarian processes, thereby contributing to sustainable development, ensuring peace and stability in the region and in order to support the efforts of the heads of CA states in this direction.

It was noted that the adoption of the Forum Declaration is a unique opportunity to bring to the heads of state of Central Asia and the general public to contribute to the joint solution of pressing regional and global issues, to reaffirm support for efforts to strengthen multifaceted regional cooperation, a common vision and wishes on the empowerment of women.
