Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The former Komsomolskoye Lake will be opened on 15 August, Khokim of Tashkent Jakhongir Artykokhodjaev said this at a briefing, a Sputnik correspondent reports.

“The area of the fully modernized lake and its beach will be 33,000 sq.m.,” the khokim of the capital said.

The national park was closed for renovation in 2017. Later, the Magic City entertainment complex was opened in one of its parts.

The reservoir in the National Park is the second large artificial reservoir created within the city limits of Tashkent on the Ankhor canal.
