Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The debt of the population for drinking water made up 1.3 trillion soums.

Of these, the debt of physical consumers is 1.1 trillion soums, legal entities - 200 billion soums. 

The highest rates of debt are in the city of Tashkent (256 billion soums), Tashkent region (150 billion soums) and Andijan region (125 billion soums).

Uzsuvtaminot and its regional water supply enterprises revealed a total of 1,515 cases of illegal connection to drinking water supply and sanitation systems.
