Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 27 November 2020, the next meeting of the IPA CIS Council and the fifty-first plenary meeting of the Assembly will be held in the format of the videoconference.

The Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva will take part in the meetings and deliver an opening speech.

At the meeting of the IPA CIS Council, it is envisaged to consider the issues of legal support of measures taken in the CIS countries to combat the coronavirus pandemic, the prospects for economic integration in the Eurasian region, preparation for observing the elections to be held within the framework of the Commonwealth in 2021, further development of cooperation between the IPA CIS and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
