Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 23 March 2022, Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairwoman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, met with a delegation headed by Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Binali Yildirim, who arrived in our country to participate in the Tashkent International Investment Forum.

Welcoming the guests, the Chairwoman of the Senate expressed her confidence that the participation of a representative delegation of the OTS and Turkey in this forum would serve to further consistent development of multifaceted relations between the two countries, including the deepening of cooperation within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States.

During the conversation, the current state and prospects of multifaceted relations between our country and the Organization of Turkic States were discussed.

Binali Yildirim emphasized that he was happy to see the results of large-scale reforms carried out in our country over the past six years under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was noted that, especially, the constructive policy of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is the basis for the further development of mutually beneficial relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey.

At the meeting, the importance of further strengthening the multifaceted cooperation relations between the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States, including the development of trade and transport, was noted.

During the conversation, attention was also focused on the importance of strengthening the role of parliamentarians in the implementation of the tasks facing the Organization of Turkic States.
