Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The amount of a one-time monetary remuneration paid to persons awarded with the badge "Honorary Donor of the Republic of Uzbekistan" increases from five times to fifteen sizes of basic estimated value (1.5 million to 4.5 million soums).

Also, persons awarded with a badge are granted the following rights:

going on the annual main labor leave at a convenient time for them;

free use of all types of urban passenger transport (with the exception of fixed-route and linear taxis);

extraordinary receipt of a voucher for treatment in state sanatoriums and resorts;

regular donors (who donate blood at least three times a year) and their close relatives (parents, spouse, children, brothers and sisters, spouse’s parents) in the process of inpatient treatment, if necessary, are provided with blood and its components free of charge;

the cost of expenses for providing donors with free food is set throughout the republic in the same amount - 3 percent of the minimum wage (27,600 soums);

the amount of payment to immune donors for immunization and donated plasma is regularly indexed in proportion to the increase in the minimum wage;

in emergency cases, the use of ambulance services is allowed for the transportation of donor blood components.
