Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 27 February 2023, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania with residence in Astana, Gintautas Vasiulis.

During the meeting, mutual readiness to intensify Uzbek-Lithuanian relations was confirmed, specific proposals were discussed to increase cooperation in various fields, and an exchange of views took place on the interaction of the two countries within the framework of regional and international structures.
