Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting of a group of deputies led by Abdumavlon Kasymov, head of the secretariat of the Tashkent city Kengash, Abdumavlon Kasymov, with USAID Local Government Advisor Michael Keshishian, took place in the khokimiyat of Tashkent. 

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is developing a new public administration project to support the goals and objectives of the New Uzbekistan Development Strategy for 2022-2026. Michael Keshishian noted that while working on the project, he visits various events and meets with officials from relevant government agencies, scientists, representatives of civil society institutions and the private sector, and is ready to assist in the development of roadmaps and other issues related to the implementation of the USAID project.

The noted that after the Message of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Oliy Majlis at a joint meeting of the chambers on 22 December 2017, significant positive changes took place in the activities of the Tashkent city and district Kengashes, marking a new stage in their development.
