Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During his visit to Istanbul on 7-9 June 2022, Minister of Innovative Development Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov met with Chairman of the Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan S. Kadyrzoda. 

During the meeting, the parties discussed the state of bilateral cooperation and the possibilities of its expansion. In particular, the head of the Tajik delegation, Kadyrzoda, noted that over the past six years, serious and positive changes have taken place in relations between the two countries. 

The Minister of Innovative Development proposed to register the ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine, developed jointly by Uzbek and Chinese scientists, in the Republic of Tajikistan. It is expected that after the registration of the vaccine, the Uzbek side, together with partners, will send 500,000 doses of the vaccine. 

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the exchange of experience between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in the field of innovative entrepreneurship and start-up projects.
