Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The law "On introducing additions to the Law "On state dues" has been considered at the thirty-seventh plenary session of the Senate.
In particular, it was noted that additional conditions had emerged to ensure judicial protection of rights and legal interests of individuals in the provision of state services.
Senators stressed that the law developed to this end ensures the rapid consideration of appeals of the population and businesses.
The Law supplements the rates of state fees. In particular, it sets payment of state duty at a rate of 50 percent of the established rate when citizens file applications (complaints) against decisions, actions (inaction) of government bodies and other organizations associated with the provision of public services. The remainder of the fees shall be charged in accordance with the established procedure based on the results of the case.
The senators stressed that the proposed law serves the judicial protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and further enhances their access to justice.
The law was approved by the senators.
