Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Beginning from 1 June, Uzbekistan will prohibit road repair work and road marking on city streets from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, except on weekends and in cases of urgent necessity.

All road repairs and marking updates will now be carried out exclusively at night, during hours of minimal traffic flow.

This measure aims to ease daily commutes for citizens traveling to work, schools, and medical facilities, as well as to help effectively prevent traffic jams and congestion on city streets.

This new schedule will significantly reduce inconvenience for drivers and pedestrians during peak hours, enhancing comfort and road safety.
