Some 42,800 family enterprises operate in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – According to preliminary data from the State Statistics Committee, as of 1 July 2024, there are 42,761 family enterprises operating in Uzbekistan.

The distribution across regions is as follows:

• Samarkand region – 7,387 enterprises
• Khorezm region – 4,680 enterprises
• Ferghana region – 4,575 enterprises
• Surkhandarya region – 3,744 enterprises
• Tashkent region – 3,564 enterprises
• Navoi region – 3,261 enterprises
• Kashkadarya region – 3,183 enterprises
• City of Tashkent – 2,978 enterprises
• Bukhara region – 2,970 enterprises
• Karakalpakstan – 2,133 enterprises
• Andijan region – 1,502 enterprises
• Jizzakh region – 1,484 enterprises
• Namangan region – 996 enterprises
• Syrdarya region – 304 enterprises
