Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Dear compatriots! I sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, congratulate you, all the Muslims of our country, all our people on the holy holiday of Ramadan Hayit - Eid al-Fitr, I express my deep respect and best wishes to all of you.
On these blessed and bright days, when our hearts are overwhelmed with a sense of joy, we first of all thank the Almighty for celebrating this sacred holiday in an atmosphere of peace, friendship and harmony, in the circle of our families, together with all our people.
It is gratifying that this holiday, which our people have honored for centuries as a great spiritual value, a symbol of kindness, mercy and humanism, is taking an ever stronger place in the life of our society.
This year, Ramadan Hayit is taking place at a historic time.
Based on the implementation of the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan, which embodied the noble idea "In the name of the honor and dignity of man", our large-scale reforms are reaching an even higher level.
As you know, Ramadan Hayit calls on all people to live in friendship and mutual understanding, harmony and cooperation, which is a clear manifestation of the exaltation of the honor and dignity of a person.
Undoubtedly, all this is connected, among other things, with ensuring the rights and interests of a person in the field of religion. In recent years, a lot of work has been carried out in the country to restore religious values, to study the richest scientific and spiritual heritage of our people. In particular, the improvement of such shrines as the burial places of the seven great Sufi feasts in Bukhara, the mausoleum of Imam Termezi in the Surkhandarya region, memorial complexes - Abul Muina Nasafi in Kashkadarya and Zangi-ota in the Tashkent region, Sulton Uvais Karani in Namangan , Suzuk-ota in the city of Tashkent.
At present, as a logical continuation of our good deeds, large-scale work is being carried out on the construction and improvement in the higher madrasah Mir Arab in Bukhara, the memorial complex of Imam Bukhari in Samarkand, the International Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent.
Dear compatriots!
As you know, due to the coronavirus pandemic, some restrictions have been imposed on pilgrimage - Hajj and Umrah. Thanks to the measures taken, we have restored the pilgrimage since January of this year - I will die for our citizens. As a result, over the past short time, about 35 thousand compatriots were able to perform the sacred ziyorat.
I am glad to announce that this year there is also an opportunity to perform the holy Hajj.
Truly, this is another mercy of the Almighty to our compatriots, who with great stamina and endurance overcame all difficulties in the days of trials.
Dear friends!
Today we all see how rapidly the situation in the world is changing. In some regions, conflicts and confrontations quickly flare up, which then become a serious threat to peace and security. All this poses important tasks for us, calls us to always be vigilant and attentive.
Our sacred religion teaches that a true Muslim must always be ready for any trials, and people with pure thoughts who do good deeds will surely be rewarded from above.
In this sense, today’s requirement is to strengthen stability in the country, an atmosphere of mutual respect and harmony, and resolute progress towards progress, based on centuries-old, unfading national values.
We need to educate the youth, which is our hope, our future, on the basis of the harmonization of such important qualities, as a spiritually mature generation capable of successfully competing in the international arena.
Only with such specific goals, thanks to the constant search and striving for something new, will we be able to achieve better results today than yesterday, and tomorrow even higher than today, to create a comfortable and prosperous life.
We must always remember that the greatest wealth in the world, which will never lose its value, is knowledge and education.
Effectively using our rich national traditions and modern experience in the field of education of advanced states, we will certainly achieve the high targets we have set.
Taking this opportunity, we sincerely congratulate all Muslims of the near and far abroad on Ramadan Hayit, wish them peace, progress and prosperity.
Dear compatriots!
Holidays have been declared in the country in connection with Ramadan Hayit for the meaningful celebration of these blessed days with the family, in mahallas, cities and villages. This is a good opportunity to visit parents, those who need support, and meet loved ones on holiday.
I am sure that our fellow citizens will actively participate in the ongoing work aimed at further improving the socio-spiritual atmosphere in society, helping everyone, especially young people, to find a worthy place in life.
Once again, I sincerely congratulate you, all our people on the holy holiday of Ramadan Hayit, which is widely celebrated in the country, I wish you all peace, happiness and health, prosperity and well-being for your families.
