Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 3 June, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva met with a delegation led by the Chairperson of the European Organization for Security and Cooperation, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Zbigniew Rau. 

Chairwoman of the Senate Tanzila Narbayeva greeted the guests who arrived in our country on a visit, introduced them to the large-scale reforms being carried out in our country under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, trade and economic relations of Uzbekistan with foreign countries and ongoing work on inter-parliamentary cooperation.

In particular, it was emphasized that long-term friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Poland, trade, economic, investment, socio-cultural and inter-parliamentary cooperation have reached a new level.

Attention was also paid to the issues of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the OSCE, ongoing work on the implementation of the organization's projects in our country.

During the conversation, plans and projects for the future were also discussed, an agreement was reached on further strengthening cooperation.
