Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Uzbekistan extended winter holidays for schoolchildren until 24 January 2022. This is said in a statement of the Ministry of Public Education.

The Ministry of Public Education reported that in order to organize advanced training courses for heads of general educational institutions and teachers under the new National Curriculum, as well as to prevent the spread of seasonal flu among students, winter holidays are being extended until 24 January 2022.

"These days, for the effective use of students’ time, various online Olympiads, intellectual games, as well as events aimed at developing a culture of reading books will be organized," the message says.

In addition, various circles for schoolchildren are planned to be broadcast on the social networks of the ministry and on the TV channels of the National TV and Radio Company.
