Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 9 October, as part of the day of the Korean letter Hangul, the final of the Quiz on Korea quiz was broadcast on the Korean TV channel KBS1 TV, in which Sadulla Ibragimov, a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan, won. This was reported by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In 2012, Quiz on Korea was broadcast for the first time. Every year, Embassies and Cultural Centers of the Republic of Korea from all over the world send one representative of the countries to Seoul, who take part in a quiz and answer questions about Korea. The Republic of Uzbekistan became the winner of the Quiz on Korea in 2012 and 2019. This year, the Uzbek citizen won for the third time. This victory confirms the deep mutual understanding and good neighborly relations between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In 2022, 22 representatives from 22 countries took part in the quiz. Sadulla Ibragimov was ahead of 120 participants and took 1st place in the qualifying round organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Uzbekistan in May this year, and was sent to the quiz final in Seoul.

Sadulla, who currently works as a project coordinator in the office of the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare and Medical Services in the Republic of Uzbekistan (Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH)), expressed his gratitude to the Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea for the excellent opportunity, and also spoke about its desire to contribute to the development of bilateral relations in the future.

Along with this, on 11 October, a ceremony of presenting a diploma on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Kim Hee-sang warmly congratulated Sadulla for winning the final of the quiz, which took place in Seoul.
