Russian police detain man suspected of child molesting in Uzbekistan

An Uzbek citizen, who was wanted on suspicion of raping a minor, has been detained in Moscow’s central district, the Interfax news agency learnt at the press service of the capital’s main police directorate on 5 February.
"Moscow police detained an Uzbek citizen in Pyatnitskaya Street at 1130 hours [Moscow time]. He was put on the international wanted list by the Uzbek law-enforcement agencies on suspicion of raping a minor," the source told the agency.
He added that the detainee had been living in various places in Moscow for six months.
