Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – From 15 November 2021, Rosselkhoznadzor, under the guarantees of the State Inspectorate for Plant Quarantine under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, has permitted the supply of tomatoes to Russia from 6 Uzbek enterprises (Tashkent region):

- Agro Light (SGM Koramurut);

- Angren Istiqlol Baraka (SGM Yonarik);

- Angren agro gold invest (SGM Yonarik);

- Sevar Shaxnoz Baraka (SGM Yonarik);

- Samarali Savdo Niyat (SGM Yogicholi);

- TNA Agroinvest (SGM B. Umarov).

According to the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, this decision was made based on the results of a quarantine phytosanitary examination of samples taken for the course of joint video inspections.

On 22 July 2021, the Rosselkhoznadzor introduced temporary restrictions on the supply to Russia of tomatoes and peppers produced in Tashkent region of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the detection of the tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) and the pepino mosaic virus ( Pepino mosaic virus) in products.
